DORICO ALONZO TYREE - (TIREH)
Tireh (born Dorico Alonzo Tyree on March 28, 1983 in Washington D.C.) is an R&B singer who was discovered by R&B recording artist, Ginuwine. He is noted for his powerhouse expansive vocal range, which spans more than 6 octaves, and his ability to hit notes in the high extremes of the whistle register.
Tireh, who currently resides in Orlando, Florida, was raised by a multi-racial mother and an American Indian father, to whom he credits his diverse talent to perceive and appreciate a myriad of music genres. Being influenced from birth by a father who played drums for major bands and artists, he gained an ear for music as a toddler. At age 5, he could be found singing Michael Jackson's latest singles, which he later sung at local talent shows and community events. Although Tireh realized he had an inner talent that could not be denied, he would select easy songs to breeze through performances in spite of stage fright. However, once Tireh became an adolescent, shedding his 'shy' skin and becoming confident enough to display his talents, he began to get praise from record producers and labels. In fact, he became so well known, he was soon discovered by R&B singer Ginuwine who was in pursuit of signing Tireh to his label BAG Entertainment in 2001. After the duo soon grew apart, Tireh inked a six figer deal with HMBC/EMI Records pending Tireh's debut album, entitled "Fahrenheit", slated for release soon.
Voice
Soon after deciding to become a recording artist, Tireh began to mold his voice and in the process discovered his whistle register. He was constantly able to reach lofty notes such as C7 and D7. It is claimed by his official site that Tireh possesses a 6 octave range. He also has the ability to scale from B1 up to C#8 and he is capable of enunciating in the 7th octave. His vocal range is similar in style to that of Mariah Carey and Minnie Riperton, but also the plus of a lower register. In previous recordings Tireh has belted B5 in head register, and up to C#8 in whistle register, similar to one other male artist in the world, Adam Lopez.

mariah carey is like 38 years old she is way past her PRIME obviously tireh is at his prime now. her voice had way more power and wasn'y airy at all early in her career and has a range of 5.2 octaves which isn't far off 6 and by the way who cares about range she sounds waaay better

This is Tireh! Thank you all for your post and your support, but let’s be fair because Mariah's fans are not going to like these comments. And if they see them they will say nasty things :) I will be back from time to time to check on this page and see what you all are saying and to watch more clips of these other amazing singers. Until next time take it easy and thank you so much for your interest in me.

C'mon guys be fair!! He did a wonderful job on the remix, but mariah didn't sound bad either, But i must agree that he did sound better. Only becausse he uses more of his full voice which we all wish mariah used more. I also love how long he held that note it was amazing, and he went up to the 6th octave in one part of the song, using full voice thats unheard of from a male. as far as i know its never been done.

Your right! he sure did, I couldn't belive the control he had with his voice. He murdered that song without a doubt. I love Mariah but he should have done the whole record she sounds terrible compared to him.

Go to his page at wikipedia for sound clips. He is the real deal. This boy can sing. In his remix for don't forget about us, he upstages mariah in every way.
